I’m a director, cinematographer, colorist, and editor with a background in art illustration — so for me, filmmaking is just painting with light. My eye for composition and light comes from years of drawing shadows before I ever picked up a camera.
I love organic, true-to-the-eye cinematography inspired by Jessica Lee Gagné — images that feel natural, honest, and textured. Whether I’m behind the lens, in the grade, or shaping a cut, I hold myself to high standards for image quality and storytelling clarity.
I believe filmmaking is a problem-solving process at heart. I thrive on turning ideas into reality, and I communicate clearly to keep crews small and sets efficient. As an assistant to Oscar-nominated director Matia Karrell’s graduate classes, I get to share that mindset with other filmmakers — and learn from them too.
